Patience
love is patient
love is kind
maybe you’ve heard
that one before
Do you live it until
the day you die?
your life is
meant to be lived
in peace and
serendipity
thoughts and prayers
to be cherishing
if you are unhappy now,
get rid of those things
that keep you up
late at night
that give you nightmares
about your fears
conquer them all and
wake up to see a new year
a growth mindset
rather than a fixed one
the most beautiful thing
I’ve learned is to love
I have flashbacks too,
flashbacks to the good days
when things
weren’t so blue
the sky was clear as day
and for once I sat down
and looked up to say
“I’m doing okay.”
