In the Struggle

everyday, it’s 

something new,

but I hope 

you have time 

to rest and embrace 

the very few

moments shared with 

friends and family 

because you are 

loved unfathomably 

there’s always 

going to be something

that arises by 

the unexpected

keep yourself cool, 

calm, and collected 

let the peace amongst 

yourself be aware

in this life, the respect 

isn’t always shared

and I know how 

frustrating it may seem

when all you want is to 

accomplish your dreams 

take this moment to breathe

and see the brightness ahead

because one day, 

it’ll only be darkness

and you’ll leave with a 

beautiful path you’ve led
